January 2014: Uganda Flood Early Warning System team blog

Three M.Eng students, Bill Finney, Joel Kaatz and Joyce Cheung Uganda completed their fieldwork for the development of an early warning system for floods in the Manafwa River Basin.

April 2013: A poster by Fidele Bingwa M.Eng.'13, Francesca Cecinati M.Eng. '13 and Yan Ma M.Eng. '13 won first place in a competition at the annual interdisciplinary water symposium "Feeding Ourselves Thirsty: The Future of Water and Food Production" at Tufts University. The winning poster, “Precipitation-Based Flood Early Warning System in the Manafwa River Basin for the Uganda Red Cross Society,” is based on research and fieldwork in Uganda.
